Wwi German Helmet Original Camo Paint World War One
I am selling this helmet ofr a friend. It was brought back from wwi to iowa by a distant relative and has been in his family ever since. The helmet has been well stored and is not rusted at all.
The leather liner is dried and cracked. The lacing is missing. The trhee cloth cushions are intact. There is a stamp on the left inside that, i think, is t66.
In teh back is an ink stanp 66 and a name and rank. Also inside the top is r8 e l.
The original camo paint has faded in 90 years. The helmet has not been cleaned or refurbished. It has been passed down in his family the awy it came back from france.
